Bell Family Dentistry supports Carlsbad Boys and Girls club

One of the institutions that has shaped Carlsbad and continues to contribute to the community is the Boys and Girls Club of Carlsbad. Offering a safe place for children to grow and encouraging them to believe that you can achieve your dreams no matter your humble beginnings. Many of our local community leaders and successful businessmen grew up in the Carlsbad Boys and Girls Club and continue to support its programs. I believe that one of the main reasons Carlsbad does not suffer the gang problems that many of the surrounding cities suffer, is the influence the Boys and Girls Club has had on the community, specifically the barrio.

We support the Carlsbad Boys and Girls Club year around with our  New Patent donation program which donates $5 for every new patient who fills out their health history before they come to their appointment. Recently, we made another $750 contribution making the total for the program $3600.

In addition, we always attend the Boys and Girls Club Annual Gala, which raises significant funds to support the operations and sponsor children who can not afford the program fees. The event is always well attended, well run, and a lot of fun. The auction items provided by local businesses offer the opportunity for great deals.   Last year, I bought a Pedego Electric bike, what a blast. We encourage you to attend a Carlsbad tradition, have a good time with your neighbors and friends while contributing to your community. The event will be held on September 24, 2016 and you can purchase tickets on the Boys and Girls Club website.
